Chemtek’s marketing team traveled to Chicago for a training conference earlier this week (Aug 19-21) to begin preparing for the CONEXPO-CON/AGG trade show, which will take place from March 10-14 in Las Vegas.  The conference attendees included show exhibitors with the goal of determining best principles for trade show marketing and customer experience. Exhibiting at CONEXPO-CON/AGG is a massive undertaking due to the size and scope of the show. 135,000 attendees are anticipated to make their way through the Las Vegas Convention Center to see the latest and greatest that the construction industry has to offer.

The exhibitor training schedule was full of informational and insightful lecture sessions covering topics such as lead and data management, booth design, and comprehensive marketing.  Keynote speaker Matthew Luhn, an animator/story developer for Pixar with over 20 years of experience, spoke about the importance of effective storytelling for marketers. Sessions on new trade show technologies, event livestreaming, behavioral science, and booth gamification all provided unique and cutting-edge strategies for exhibitors to effectively spread their message.

Ultimately, the extra level of expertise and preparation gained from the conference will help Chemtek provide the best tradeshow experience for our current and future customers. We are continuously working to spread our message of helping companies optimize safety, efficiency and sustainability on their construction sites. With many new strategies and best principles to incorporate at CONEXPO, our reach in the construction and asphalt maintenance industries will continue to expand.
